The Pembroke Corgi world has recently suffered a staggering blow; the "end of an era." An internationally known and respected Founding and Honorary Member, and Board Member Emeritus of the GGPWCF, and Honorary Member of the PWCCA, Margaret "Marty" Downing, Cappycorn Corgis, passed away May 6, 2009, at the age of 96. Known by many, respected and loved by all, we will have a celebration of her life at Hillcrest Park in Concord, CA, on June 28, 2009, at 11:00 am. It will be a potluck and barbeque. To help coordinate the potluck please contact Debbie Oliver by June 20 concerning your contribution of a main or side dish. If you have pictures of Marty that you could share please also let Debbie know. You can reach her by email
